Twelve O’Clock High. This classic war movie, starring Gregory Peck as General Frank Savage (emphasis on savage), depicts a very stern general who, upon arriving, is not the most welcomed. He views his soldiers as mere statues on a giant chess board, and if one goes down it’s all worth it to win the war. This is not very encouraging to his men, who are risking their lives in fighter planes -very dangerous considering they are attempting to fly during the day and attack a German military base. It is a great story on moral, but I wouldn’t suggest it if you aren’t really in to war movies. To be honest, I nearly fell asleep on it. Luckily it is an easy storyline to follow! (Actual war-footage was used in this film)
Sorry about the volume…

An English woman marries a charmer who, she soon finds, is neck-deep in gambling debt. When his friend mysteriously dies, she begins to suspect her charming hubby may be a cold-blooded murder who would do anything to pay off his debts…
Naturally, this is an Alfred Hitchcock movie.

The character Lucy trying to hide her gentleman friend’s hat from her husband, Jerry, by giving it to the dog who is taught to play hide and go seek… Long story short, it was a very disasterous idea…
The Awful Truth. Cary Grant, Irene Dunne and Ralph Bellamy

Two pranksters decided to get a divorce after Jerry comes home under suspicious circumstances. They both try to find new love, but end up undermining each other’s attempts. Very funny, a must see!
It’s been too long since I’ve seen this movie…

Cyd Charisse and Fred Astaire.
See them in The Band Wagon (I said Top Hat, before. Oops!).
I haven’t seen it yet, but I plan to…
