This is a movie poster for Second Chorus with Fred Astaire (can you tell he’s my favourite),Burgess Meredith and Paulette Goddard (as well as Artie Shaw playing himself. Artie Shaw is known quite well as a musician in this era).
Hank and Taylor are always competing. Call it a refreshing friendship… When they meet the lovely Ellen, they go neck and neck to win her affections. They even go so far as to get her fired so she would work for them as their manager!
Of course, their constant ambition to fail college courses so they can continue to perform with the college band may be a bit of a turn off…
This is a very fun movie. Definitely worth watching!
